I love this skirt. When I feel a little playful and girly I pull this Zara khaki balloon skirt out of the closet and pair it with various tops and footwear. I find it very versatile. I think I've had this skirt for 3 years now.
Last Mother's day, I paired it with a Top Shop striped shirt and accessorized with one long strand of pearls and black flower brooch.
On another day, a work day, I paired it with a bone colored Padini knit top. To complete the look, I put on a braided belt and a multi-layer necklace. This is not my usual office attire, I just wanted a more easy going look without looking shabby or inappropriate. Oh well, at least I hope I didn't.
So why the compulsion to wear something different? This Cath Kidston bag inspired the outfit.
A month ago, I ordered this bag. It took a month before I got it. I hate the wait but am happy I did. I love the bag. It gives me a breather from the monograms. I love that not too many know or have it yet, or may even like it because of the floral design, which also means not too many counterfeits, and best, price is pocket-friendly.
The bag and the skirt will surely find themselves paired in various ensembles.
I'm sure you also have your own versatile pieces. What's your favorite article of clothing that gives you 101 looks? Share please.

My black Zara top with a flower shaped ornament on the left side. I can wear that with a skirt (last Friday's attire). I can wear it with jeans or a pair of khaki shorts for a more casual look :-) Well, anything goes with black.
